When I bought my residence the ceilings in the complete residence have been all covered with the 1 foot square tiles (I’ve been told the name of these but can not bear in mind it suitable now – oh well). When the ugly white tiles came down we discovered this….I wasn’t content about the wallpaper I identified on the ceiling, I was hoping it would be all wood and I could just do a white-wash finish and leave it antiquey (I know this is not a genuine word but you fully grasp the meaning!). A different group of folks who appear for vintage tiles is artists and crafters.
