The exclusive use of olive oil is advisable which is dispensed from a spray container. Avoid pouring from a bottle as this will only make you to put too much from the pan. Say for example that you can’t find an olive oil spray, you may want to improvise by recycling a window cleaner spray bottle.
There are some things that you should be reminded of if you want to be sure that your pan’s nonstick surface will last for a long time. For instance, it will be wise to use plastic, silicon, wood utensils or rubber. Despite the fact that scratches do not affect nonstick properties, there’s a possibility that they may disfigure the surface so make sure to avoid metal or any type of sharp objects to cook with your nonstick pan.
Make sure to follow it up with a thorough cleaning after every use. Here, you should wash it using warm water with a mild detergent but, wash it well enough to remove oil residue. It may bake into the surface for the next time it is heated which can cause impairment to its nonstick effect in the event that the oil is not removed.
